我在香港常常吃到各種典型的江南食物──從無錫湯包、蘇州麵點、上海佳餚以及四時蔬果──就是因為這家「同順興」南貨總匯。

清明節將至，想起江南習俗要吃青糰，便去上環「同順興」，買了一盒上海「功德林」出品的青糰解饞。這類江南食品「同順興」最多，春天一到，春菜都到了，香椿芽、茴香、萵笋、春笋，當上海居民都在為封區檢疫而搶菜的時候，「同順興」門口卻滿是上海運來的蔬菜，十分豐盛。

同順興賣的貨品種類豐富、千奇百趣。老字號本來只做批發，幾年前開始騰出店面賣零售貨，急凍的、鮮嫩的、時令的、陳年的，都可在此中尋。

這天從「同順興」買回的小籠包，原也不抱太大希望，不料雖是急凍食品，但蒸出來後依然鮮汁滿口，濃鬱無比。吃在嘴裏，便如千里遇故人，有到太湖旁黿頭渚一遊之趣，十分欣喜

中國人常說「民以食為天」，不僅因為食物可以果腹，更因為食物承載着記憶。記憶是無形的，通過食物的味道卻能將其化為現實，不斷回味。上環上海同順興南貨舖的老闆林國鎮以個人對事業的堅持，化解了無數人的思愁。
